This fund is set aside for the Ministry of Public Service works in collaboration with HELB for Civil Servants in the National Government, County Governments, and National Police Service to pursue postgraduate studies.
Applicant must be a civil servant- an employee of a Ministry, County government or National Police service.
This loan is for postgraduate studies only.
No processing fees.
Loan amount is up to ksh.500,000 per year.
Repayment period is up to 72 months.
Repayment is by check-off.
Interest charged is 4% per year on reducing balance.
Admission letter from a recognized university or training institution in Kenya.
Recommendation letter from the employer.
Copies of 3 months latest pay slips with a net pay above 1/3 of basic pay (certified by employer)
Certified copy of the National ID
Certified copy of KRA PIN
Certified copy of National ID from two guarantors employed within the civil service.
Recent colored passport size photographs.
